Educational Excursion to Japan (15–22 May 2025)
A group of 23 students, accompanied by our Principal Rev. Fr. Saiju Thomas and teachers Mr. Lambeth Lawrence and Ms. Meenu Sahni, embarked on a memorable educational excursion to Japan from 15 to 22 May 2025. The group explored Osaka, Kyoto, Kobe, and Tokyo, experiencing Japan’s rich culture, advanced technology, pollution-free environment and disciplined, harmonious lifestyle reflecting their deep respect for balance, order, community, nature, and discipline—all key aspects of daily life in Japan. Highlights included visits to Osaka Castle, the Museum of Housing and living, Fushimi Inari Shrine, the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan, Universal Studios, Disney Sea, and the futuristic Miraikan Museum. Students also enjoyed a thrilling bullet train ride from Osaka to Tokyo and visited Mt. Fuji up to the 5th level, Tokyo Tower, and the bustling Shibuya Crossing. They indulged in local shopping at vibrant streets like Dotonbori and Shinsaibashi, and explored Akihabara’s electronic wonders. Authentic Japanese cuisine, courteous interactions, and cultural exchanges with local students made the journey truly enriching and unforgettable.
